A number of years ago the University of Zittau, a city in the state of Saxony in Germany got in touch with us looking to organise a cultural tour of Scotland for their final year history students.
We had lots of correspondence with the university staff to find out what the students were studying, and what key themes were of particular importance. An itinerary was then put together covering such cultural areas as Robert Burns (Scotland’s national poet), Scottish lowlands and the Industrial Revolution, Stirling and Bannockburn, The Highland line, Glencoe and Glenfinnan, Highlands and Ancient Scotland, Skye and the Western Isles, Speyside and the Cairngorms and Perthshire and Fife.
The above tour has now been adopted as a template for the final year students who wish to be part of the annual cultural trip to Scotland.
We would like to say how pleased and delighted we were with Timberbush and its two drivers. The contrasting combination of Graham and Hamish was a really good choice on your part. Everything went perfectly to plan.
